Unveiling our programme for 2022

We are thrilled to announce this year's concert schedule!

2022 is certainly going to be a busy one. We're working on some fabulous repertoire and we hope that you'll be able to join us at some (or indeed all) of our performances this year.

Here's a quick rundown of what we have lined up...

South Hill Park, Bracknell (Berkshire)

Our performance programme begins at South Hill Park on Sunday 8th May (which happens to be International Mother’s Day), with two back-to-back short concerts simply entitled “Music for Mothers”. This is a musical celebration of motherhood and of all those who play a nurturing role in our lives. We've loved choosing and rehearsing this beautiful selection of music. South Hill Park itself offers a glorious landscape in which to stroll, with delicious Sunday lunches and cream teas, so it’s the perfect day out. So, bring along your special someone!

St Mary's Church, Guildford (Surrey)

And if you can’t make this date, why not join us at St Mary’s Church, Guildford, on Sunday 22nd May at 4pm, where we'll be performing this beautiful programme once again.

Midhurst... or MADhurst! (Sussex)

Our Summer festival appearance takes place in the beautiful Sussex town of Midhurst, on Tuesday 23rd August at the infamous MADhurst Festival. Come and bask in the multitude of events that are on offer in this attractive town, and catch Corra Sound that evening for our return visit to this diverse and eclectic festival.

Romsey Abbey (Hampshire)

October sees our first appearance at the Ethelflaeda Festival - Ethelflaeda, Lady of the Mercians, was renowned for being the warrior queen equal of Bouddica or Joan of Arc - at Romsey Abbey on Saturday 22nd October. You can be sure of our inspiring signature repertoire, featuring captivating music written predominantly by dynamic female composers from around the globe.

Christmas tree, baubles and lights

St Nicolas’ Church, Guildford (Surrey)

And finally, we return to Guildford - to St Nicolas’ Church to be precise, for our Christmas concert on Saturday 3rd December, where we present a cornucopia of festive music from across the centuries.

We hope these unique events, which unashamedly advocate for female performers, conductors and composers, will leave you feeling inspired, uplifted and enriched.

Please come and say hello if you are able to attend any of our performances. We would be delighted to welcome you.
